To think, I used to WANT these things

Well Since I started taking the pill my cup size has ballooned from a fashionable and easy to clothe 36B to a frustrating and sometimes painful 36F/G. At least they look nice for their size, because 23 is a bit young for a reduction don't you think?

I don't know what to do, I've only got one really nice bra (and it set me back $80) that doesn't cause me pain and lets me actually move freely without fear of causing more.

Is there anywhere I can go to get a really good supportive bra that's going to do the same and not empty my bank account at the same time?
I know Fredericks carries up to an F cup but I'm not sure of the quality, because honestly I'd rather have ONE great bra then several barely passable ones.

And I really don't want to shop online, since I'd rather avoid the hassle of sending something back because it doesn't fit. When I could just put it back on the rack at a shop.

Are there any places that cater to ladies with my assets? or am I stuck with my local specialty boutique?

Hi and welcome to the board.

Unfortunately I think you are stuck with specialty boutiques for your bras, at least the first time. Try getting measured at one, then take that bra size to a less expensive store and try the bras there in that size.

I did get sized at the boutique, thats how I learned was a 36F/G and not a 40DD like two chain shops had fitted me. I was getting sick of the 40DD's digging into my sides, and not supporting me. Really the pain in my breasts and back was awful.

I was hoping there was another shop that sold bras that large, I really don't enjoy having to spend $80 or more on an single bra, just because I use the rest of the alphabet. Not only that but it's an $80 granny bra ;_;
Don't get me wrong, it amazingly comfortable, but I miss the cute stuff I used to have, all the lace, silk, prints, and matching sets, seem to have vanished.

I've searched and searched, but Fredericks seems to be the only place that comes close to my size, as most places stop at DD.

I had hoped maybe some of the other ladies might know something that I didn't.
