My husband and I are going to a 10 year anniversary dinner for his work. It is going to be at a very nice country club. I know the men have to wear a suit and tie. I would think a cocktail dress would be appropriate, but I'm not sure! I don't want to be over or under dressed, since the owner of the corporation and all the "big wigs" are going to be there. Please help!!

Do you know the any of the wives of other men who will be there? If you do I'd talk to them, and get an idea of what they are going to be wearing. A cocktail dress sounds appropriate, to me for where it is being held, but I have to say I've gone to more of these type of dinners than I want to think about and have seen everything from cocktail dresses to jeans, on the women.

I would say the cocktail dress is very appropriate, especially since it is held at a country club.
