What to Wear to a Wedding

So, my husband got a phone call a while back from his best friend that he's getting married. And my husband is in the wedding. Although we are really good friends with this couple, only he was in our wedding and not his girlfriend. But she did play a big party in my wedding. She helped decorate, pick things out with me, she even went to one of my dress fittings with me. She wore a almost like prom dress/ Homecoming dress and had her hair done to my wedding.. But I have no idea what to wear to hers.. I know her wedding colors are going to be with the girls in red and the guys in red with yellow flowers. And I think because my husband is in the wedding, I kinda want to match, and not stick out like a sore thumb. I don't want to wear red, but I still want to match my husband... What do you think?? Please help!

Hi Megan,

Well, you WILL actually stick out like a sore thumb if you DO wear red and match your husband. Wear anything but red and don't worry about matching your husband... you're not really suppose to match.

I agree with Cindy, don't worry about matching your husband. Wear what you want, but do try to avoid red, something that contrasts would work, and not make you too obvious.

Have a great time!

If you want to match without matching too much, perhaps you could go with a yellow dress? Since the guys will have yellow accents it may be the best "matching" option.

But not everyone looks good in yellow, so that may be a problem.
