While I have lots of very nice earrings I seldom wear them, I do however, wear rings all the time. I have my parent's wedding sets, my own wedding set and several Black Hills gold rings that I change off with. I also have a cameo I wear for dressy times, and a green tiger's eye for fun.

Although I didn't vote this way, on reflection I think perhaps I should have voted for purses. Since for many, if not most, two or so purses must do everyday duty year-round, it takes some thought to choose them; they must coordinate with multiple looks. That's sort of an appealing challenge.

I had to think long and hard about this one, since I can come at it from two angles: 1) What catches my attention on a woman, and 2) What I enjoy most for my own use. For 1) my selection would be jewelry, since after her looks and basic attire that seems to be what I focus upon. But really, everything's good from that perspective, especially if it contains some beautiful colors. ;)

For 2), I finally decided on purses. For starters, it's the most necessary accessory I own, especially if that day's wardrobe selection does not feature any pockets. Also, it can hold so many useful things and since it's a distinctly female item, it catches everyone's attention hanging from this man's shoulder. ;) My current selection is a traditional design in basic black leather with a full-length strap (i.e. the purse itself comes down to my waist) and it works well with every look...well, every look I assemble from the female attire in my closet, anyway. (LOL) Though I have to admit that out of habit I will still occasionally reach for a nonexistent back pants pocket for my wallet...34 years of habit can be tough to break!

I voted "Other", meaning gloves. I know they are very much out of favor now, even for weddings, even for the bride! But I don't care. I wear short leather gloves in all but the warmest weather and have the panache to carry them off. For evening, I have a drawer full of kid opera and shoulder length gloves in many colors and never go out to a club or restaurant without them. I do get some odd looks, but have attracted many interesting gentlemen who are fascinated by a Woman in long gloves. Chris, I'll bet you are a glove lover, too.

Hi Chris!

I actually did find some pretty ones at an online antique shop, in addition to a couple of plain white ones with an embroidered flower on them that my mom bought for me a couple of years ago.

SHOES!!!!!!! Yup, I call them an accessory because they can make or break an outfit just like the rest :)

Earrings that are coordinated with what I'm wearing are very important. Of course it goes without saying that shoes and a purse are highly important as well.
