Tthis is the NOOKA Zirc, not a brand I've ever heard of. It definately is a unique watch. The price tag is $300, way more than I'd ever pay for a watch. Here is what their website says about this watch, and how to read it. 'The Zirc combines the familiarity of a clock face with Nooka's intuitive concept of time. Reading like an analog watch, the 12 dots represent hours while the horizontal row counts minutes, with a small window counting up the seconds".

What do you think, would you buy this, even at a lower price?

It's kind of neat for those into a techie, futuristic look. But honestly, for me to be able to read those bars to count the minutes, the watch face would have to be at least 4 inches long and 2 wide -- I'd look like I was wearing a mini clip board on my wrist!

No way... I'd pass!

At a lower price, I would have enjoyed one as a desk or table clock when I was single and working. Great conversation piece and more useful than most kinetic sculpture.
