I'm sorry that it hasn't been the best year for you, but I understand. It hasn't been the best one for me, either.

December is a busy month. Work has been picked up and we're trying to tie loose ends. There's a wedding I've got to attend, and a couple Christmas parties in addition to our normal weekly dinner and drinks night.

What are your plans, Rita?

What have you had do on this year for that didn't make it so great?

For me it was a broken leg, not getting to go to Chicago because I broke my arm!!! But I did get a chic apartment at the end of Septmeber, so I guess it wasn't that bad of a year...right?

Sounds like fun to me.

Saturday some shopping and hopefully hit the movies at least a few times this month with close friends and maybe a little cocktail party at my place.

My father passed away suddenly at the end of October. We knew that it was going to happen one day, and sooner rather than later, but I was thinking along the lines of a year or two. But he was only briefly in the hospital, so he didn't suffer much. Well, he was in a coma, and a friend of mine who has been in a coma has said that she didn't suffer at all, and I hope that it's true.

So you are fully recovered now, arm and leg? Did you have to go to physiotherapy sessions?

So you are now living in an apartment? This chic apartment is all your own, or do you share with someone? How very, very, very cool! I am really happy for you. And how nice that you can now organize drinks at your house and things like that. Woohoo!

I'm sorry to hear about your father, Poppy! My condolences. It's strange but both my father and father -in-law passed away the same way. They too were in a coma. My father fell

My leg is good, a little more work with my arm, but for now all is good!!!

Sorry to hear about your dad. I'd be crushed if something happened to my mom.

Thanks. I really love it. Its nears everything I do.

Thank you, Terre.

My father had fallen a few times last year, and I tell you that it was one of the most terrifying things in my life. I was always so afraid that he's fall in the middle of the night and I'd not be aware. Somehow I developed super human hearing at night. The times I heard a thud! were really scary. My heart would skip a beat, and then it would just break when I helped my father back up.

Thank you, Rita.

I am so glad to hear that everything is okay. That's great that the apartment is near to everything that you do. Does your little sister also live with you and your mom or is it just the two of you? Are you entertaining friends more now?
