I have a wedding I'm going to just before New Year's Eve. I'm thinking of gettign something new. I'm not sure what though. Anything that makes me look 24. More mature looking clothes. Something more than just jeans and flip-flops. I like dressing kinda nice, you know, just a little nice than jeans and a t-shirt. Dressing for the holiday just really isn't my thing. I do love to dress up just abit year around!!!

I love dressing up for the Holidays; I don't have many opportunities to dress up so I take any opportunity I get. What I don't get is why they sell skimpy slip tops and miniskirts for holiday festivals. Sure, I'm talking about more of the "younger, hipper" stores, and maybe they're pushing for New Years in particular but come on!! I see if I were in LA but they sell that stuff in WI. Many times, it's below zero on Christmas and New Years and I'm supposed to wear a slinky dress or top and miniskirt to go to a party?? What good is such an outfit when I have to keep my wool coat on all night?

Right now, I'm knitting a purple sweater with "butterfly wings". I'm going to wear it over a creme camisole. I'll probablly wear it with dark denim jeans, my black pointed toe boots and some chandelier earrings. I'm only going over to my grandparents for Christmas Eve but I like to dress up a bit even if no one else does.

I really only dress up for DH's holiday party. I usually wear a dress, but this year I am wearing pants, a halter and some super sexy shoes!
