We all want our hair to look its best since its one of the first thing people see and notice before we shake their hand and introduce ourselves to the other person we come in contact with. We seek out the best we can afford and other times we pay a little extra because unlike trying on that new fall top at home and seeing it really isn't as flattering as it was in the dressing room, we can't exchange our hair dos'.

So the question of the moment is: When it comes down to it, what is the absolute most you will pay for a haircut?

No. The first time I ever stepped foot in this salon I had a stylist named Marie. Then she left and went to another place. I followed her there and didn't like the place. Well, actually she and I had a falling out. She was asking too many personal questions. I just didn't like that. So, I went back to the original place and I've

I hate when people are that way. Its one thing when they maybe want to get to know you more as a close friend and then its another when they later use as something to talk about behind your back. Its just sometimes hard to tell which way a person

I would really dislike that too. To me it just sounds like she uses the info she gets from you to talk about with other clients when you're not there, and she probably feels okay to do it since its not therapy and its just hair salon, but she still shouldn't do that at all. Its also very unprofessional as well.

The next time I go to my hair dresser, which has started her own business I think I might give a little gift or something since she was so nice and let me know that she would still like to cut my hair and I'm grateful for that because when I went to the salon where she used to work at yesterday, and the girl that they set me up with cut my hair way, way too short in the back. She cut it half an inch shorter than what I normally have it cut and like. When she was done, my mom had to have her even it up some more in the back because in one area it was shorter on one side and longer on the other. For once I didn't feel bad that I didn't give her a tip. I try to tip when I can, but not always, but I think from now on I will because the girl that normally does my hair really good and knows what she's doing.

I don't know why all of sudden she was asking personal questions but I do know she was unhappy in the new place. It was a really nice swanky salon and where her booth was located the whole wall was all windows so it got hot in that corner and she was complaining left to right about it. She was hot. I remember that very clearly.

You don't have to get an expensive gift but I always get something because I really appreciate what she does for me. In the past I've had stylists that have moved and not let me know and then I'm stuck trying to find someone who knows what I like done to my hair. Lyndsie really takes care of me. I've given her Christmas candles or a Christmas ornament...something like that.
