What foundation do you like to wear?

What's your favorite brand for foundation?

What's shade of lipstick/gloss do you like to wear?

How often do you wear makeup?

Do you have a set amount that you spend on makeup?

You should go to MAC or any other makeup counter to have some new foundation that matches your skin tone.

I've pondered this, but since I rarely wore it then its hardly high on my to do list. It always weirds me out how MAC is sooooo dark. How on earth can they match your skin tone in that environment lol? Then other makeup counters have the opposite problem.....weird hospital lighting lol.

Where I go its well lit, but you can also try Sephora if there's one in your area and you might get a little more one on one with them and they have a wide range of foundations to help you find the perfect one. Try out what other brands you like and tell the sales person what you want and don't let them talk you into something you don't worry nor want to spend the money on. Its really easy to get caught up in that so just buy what you need or want, not what they want to sale you. It may take a few trips to the makeup counter, but since you're the one wearing it and spending good money on it, you want to get it right, not just wing. This isn't high school or college any more. But do feel free to try a few looks until you get the one you like and then stick wtth it so then it becomes your signature look....in a good way. :

I agree on the importance of sticking to your guns against those makeup ladies. My oh my they can be so pushy! I tend to prefer to look for something like this when I have absolutely no money to spend that way I can't be talked into anything. Then when I'm ready to purchase the whole transaction takes less than 5 minutes.

Good point, and you can also look online as well to help get ideas, but unless you know what colors you want and you're just replacing what you have ran out of, its best to see them in person.
