NEED HELP any advice would be great

Hello all,

I was wondering if I could get some input. I have dark hair, but unfortunately was blessed with my grandmas' pale, pale skin,...I mean W-H-I-T-E as in casper white, having dark hair and dark eyes, to me seems to make me a little harsh, and yes I do tan well, but I don't want to risk a sunburn...and I want to keep my skin healthy and as young looking as possible....yet I want to have a healthy glow...so I am opting for trying a self tanner...I tried one a few years ago...estee lauder, I really liked it, however I am looking for something that I can get say at walmart, that will work for my face and body, but not leaving me looking like totally un-natural.

Anybody have any advice I would be greatly appreciated.

oops one more question, do I have to buy a seperate tanner for my face? or is there a product out there that I can use uni-laterally on my whole body.

thanks again all,

Jammie

Jammie,

Personally, I have found the best department brand for my white skin to be Lancome Flash Bronzer, in the foam.

However, if you're looking for something to buy at a place like Wal Mart, I would opt for Coppertone Endless Summer lotion...

However, I find that lotions that are more expensive are WELL worth the price. I suggest looking on Ebay to find last season's tanners (unopened, of course).

As for the face, I find that you can use all of the body lotions for the face, just be sure to apply moisturizer beforehand.

Hope this helps!

Hi Jammie! Welcome to the board.

I also have very pale skin. My mom was a red head. I was blonde. I use Bain de Soleil in the streakguard formula. You can buy it at your local walmart. It is not to expencive and they have several different types from lotions to foam. I have never had any problems with it. You can see where it is going on because it is tinted. That lets you know where you have applied it.

I always have to use self tanners because unfortunally I don't tan I burn. I hope this helps some. Let us know how it goes!
