Awww....its Monday....again, but before we know it, it will be a short week because of Thanksgiving in just a little over 2 weeks!!! I can't believe at how fast this month is going by.

This entire year has just flown by for me! But I'm so ready to get started on Thanksgiving dinner; it's my favorite time of the year to cook like a madwoman! LOL My youngest will enter his teen years on the 29th -- I'm not sure I'm ready for that, but oh well.

Sounds like fun. Besides fixing the basics, what else do you plan on fixing as far as pies and sweets like that? I want my mom to fix a home made apple pie for a change and maybe pecan. Do you plan on doing any Black Friday shopping this year? I'm looking forward to it.
I really, really wish I could make homemade pies, but as hard as I try, I just totally flop at piecrusts. I'll be baking the frozen ones; pumpkin, cherry, apple and pecan. But I do will also be making banana pudding and a mandarin orange icebox cake that is to die for!
I would like to hit the Black Friday sales, especially if I get a chance to map out my plan of attack! LOL
I'm counting down the days until Black Friday.
