New Week, Another Monday...

Good morning everyone!!! I'm sorry I haven't been around, I've been sick, nothing too bad, stuffed up, but today...I'm so much better now. This week I don't have whole lot going on, but I'm going shopping on Black Friday with some friends, so I'm really excited about that. We are going at midnight when the mall opens. I'm looking forward to it. Thursday and Friday I won't be around, but I will behere on Saturday!

So is anyone going out of town this week to see family and friends?

Any Black Friday shopping or finding good deals on your favorite websites?

Sorry to hear you're sick chic, hope it clears up soon.  I won't be doing any Black Friday shopping since I did all the shopping I had to do a couple of weeks ago.  There's still stuff I could use, but I'm sticking to my budget.

I actually signed on for a seasonal gig so I was hoping to double my work load this week and pocket some much needed extra cash, but the manager is largely on the disorganized side and hasn't scheduled me nor provided me with training.  I thought about calling to light a fire under her, but then I realized that I'm just over having to do that kind of thing.  She's the manager, that's her job, and the gig doesn't pay me enough for me to tell her how to do her job.  If she gets it together fine, if not then I can pick up side work elsewhere.

My family and friends are local so I can just drop in whenever like I do any other week.  I may actually do some volunteering on Turkey Day just because.

And I have a date on Wednesday that I'm looking forward to.  It's kind of a weird night for a date with the holiday being the next day, but our phone chats have gone really well and we didn't want to wait until after the holiday to meet.  I'm even leaning toward wearing one of my new black dresses for the date.  I'd normally wear pants, but I think getting out of my comfort zone would be good for me.  I'm pondering options to jazz it up too so I don't look plain.  And it better not rain!  lol!

MY family and my gf family are close by.  Therefore, I am not going out of town.

I am not going out until Sunday.  The Black Friday is getting out of hand.

I have the week off,   It was nice to have some time to express my feminine side.

Well considering I got home at 4:30am I'd say the date went well lol!  He was really nice and fun to be around so we just had a really good time.  Things started out a bit awkward but thank heavens that passed quickly.  I did end up wearing the black dress with boots and although I wasn't 100% happy with it (just seemed like something was missing?) it worked out well.

Now this is normally the part where I'd just start ignoring every other guy on my radar and focus all my attention on this one.  Then things would continue going great for a few weeks and then fizzle out.  Ummm no, not doing that this time.  I'm simply just going to see how it goes and not put all my eggs in one basket.

Thinking over the date there was only one odd thing about him that really sticks out in my mind.  Early on I noticed this flowery smell and I thought it was coming from one of the girls sitting nearby, but nope.  Turns out that smell was coming from him.  I casually inquired about his cologne and he explained that its some designer stuff that he really likes.  He even admitted that he was wearing the women's version because he liked it better.  That's got to be weird right?  Most men wear men's cologne or opt for a soap and water smell right?  It just seemed really weird to have a guy smell like flowers and even worse for it to be a smell I wasn't digging.  I don't even think I'd like that smell on a woman.

That's nice. I didn't go out of town, I save that for July. ; ) I do have to say at some places it is a little out of hand, but at least it comes once a year.

Sounds like you had a nice time minus his perfume. At least when you go to buy some for yourself, the 2 of you can shop on the same aisle. LOL!!! Sounds like if that's the worst part, I think you'll be okay, but just don't put all your eggs in one basket like you said and I think you have a keeper, but only you can figure that out.
