Do you have any resolutions and do you ever keep up with them?

I don't believe in those type of traditions. I never make New Year Resolutions. I believe I'm a work in progress and I keep that in mind day to day, year to year. New Year Resolution's just set you up for failure, maybe because they are often too vague and/or grandiose.

I think making resolutions was more of a 90s thing than now. I have set a few goals for myself such as drinking more water and eating less junk food. To be a better person and to be a little more mature. I'll be 25 at the end of next year. That's 5 years away from 30!!! When I was younger I didn't wanna grow up, but I don't what I was afraid of. I guess it was saying I just wanna be a kid. I can't remember the last time I said that. I think some people treat like I'm younger because I don't look my age at all. People think my 16 year old sister looks like she's 21!!! A lot of people guess I'm either still in high school or I'm 17-19. I've had a few people guess that I was 21. I was like "Thank you!!! No, really thank you." There's something to work on. I guess we can consider ourselves as a canves or a work of art that needs to be molded into something that we can live with for the rest of our lives, how ever long that might be!

Setting goals are cool and your goals seem attainable. I guess I'm not about making resolutions just one time a year kind of like people who only go to church on Christmas and Easter. I think you should be improving yourself to some degree all year along.

One thing, I think many probably think you are younger than you are because you're female. I'm always carded, for example, and my brother is not: he's three years younger than me. Come to think of it, he's almost never questioned about his age. Something to do with woman, on average, being smaller than men, I think.

Secondly, I can't believe you mentioned 25 and how close to 30 you'll be. I'm turning 27 tomorrow and I'm like, one step closer to 30!! Just kidding. I can't wait until I'm 30. With each passing year, I get more accomplished and aware of who I am. I love it:)

It more of just goals to work on than new year's resolution, but it gives ideas to work on through out the year. Its not a big deal to me. Age is just a number...right?
