Weekend Check In

Well its the weekend...already. YAY!!!  I'm getting together with some friends Saturday and Sunday, so I'm really looking forward to that. Other than that, I don't have much else planned other than just chilling out and relaxing. Monday I'm going back to the gym. I've not been since Tuesday of last week and I really wanna finish shedding a few more,12-15 lbs by March and I've been doing really good since mid-Septmeber, even though I've eaten kind of junky the last few weeks with all the yummy food and seasonal drinks.

So what's every one up to this weekend?

Seeing friends and family this weekend?

I have another final to do so I'll spend most of the weekend doing that. I'll run a few errands, watch crappy tv, and try not to think about the fact that I think things are completely over with that new guy.

It was fun.  We gone to Nordstrom, NM, Victoria's Secret.  We try on a couple of dresses.  At Victoria's Secret, I ended up buying a bra, thong and chemise.

I'm sorry things are heading that way with the new guy. Why do you think things are heading that way though?

I wish we had Nordstrom, NM here. I got a bra there not too long ago. I love shopping there for stuff like and Bath & Body Works as well.

Well for the last several days he'd grown really distant and I knew he had a major personal issue to deal with, but it felt like way more than that.  Turns out I was right.  Apparently there were a few things he hadn't been completely honest with me about and he was really stressed over how to tell me.  We were headed in a lets be serious direction and he didn't think he could realistically do that without fessing up.  So he'd been trying to figure out how to tell me and was convinced I'd want nothing to do with him and that isn't what he wanted.  So resorting to immature antics he was being distant figuring I'd just get irritated and go away.

Well if this were 5 years ago his antics would have worked, but I'm too old to fall for that now.  I just called him on it and insisted we talk it out.  And talk it out we did.  We had an eye opening conversation that involved him coming clean and yeah I was upset.  I won't get into what he fessed up about, but it does change things.  So the end result was we agreed to continue dating and see if we really can work past it all.  No more dishonesty, no more avoiding, and no passive aggressiveness.  We spent a lot of time together over the weekend and it was nice, but we're nowhere near being able to laugh about this.  So we'll see how it goes.

Oh and in the spirit of honesty I even told him I hate that perfume he wears so we'll be finding something else lol.

Having long talks and working things out, and seeing things more clearly helps any relationship. Even if its telling them to get a more manly perfume. LOL!!!
