This season's current fashion blunder I hold close to my heart is the bubble coat advertised in WalMart commercials. And around here, WalMart is the place that gets the most shoppers--including people who wear their badly sewn clothes. And you can bet there will be people wearing that horrible piece of clothing. What kind of woman would wear something that makes her look big and boxy? Not that it looks much better on a man.... Now, I know that that coat served a purpose. It was to do work out in the snow. It's the perfect coat to wear while shoveling snow. But now, people wear it as a fashion statement. A statement that says, "Hey, I look like the Michelin Tire Man!" (And I know, no one will be shoveling snow around here, when we get barely enough to dust the ground.)

Charming.

I forgot to add one thing: snow sports. Now that I think about it, I can see a skier wearing this. But around here, all I'll see are regular old schmoes and plain janes in this coat.

I couldn't agree more.. they look really tarty. The ideal skirt length for me is just above the knee.

" Maybe they think that this will hide all their bulging bits, lol."

That was my thought, exactly. But why the heck would you hide bulging bits with bulging bits!?!

I absolutely hate flip-flops. They are tacky and also hard to walk in. I prefer strappy sandals. They stay on.

Good point ! LOL. I can't tand flip flops either and they do look tacky, even the leather ones and I don't know how people can walk in the things. Round the house, I'll just wear those Masseur sandals. Don't know whether you guys have them there but they massage your feet
