Do you shave your legs before a pedicure?

I went for a pedicure this weekend and it was pretty busy, I had someone on either side of me. As I always do while there I was people watching and seeing what everyone was getting done, this design, that design, and noticed that both people had hairy legs. One had super long hair, as if she doesn't shave at all (dark hair) while the other had stubble, but long enough that you could see it. I always feel bad for the girl so I shave my legs morning of. I know I wouldn't want to be running my hands on someone's hairy legs - but then I guess they may see worse with some people's feet. LOL

I never intentionally shave before a pedicure. It if happens to fall on a day I plan to shave then fine but I don't go out of my way to shave for them. And really I never gave it much thought because I don't care what the employees think about my legs. They are there to take care of my feet.

I do because I am slightly self conscious. I figure in the summertime when I want nice toes I want nice legs too lol. However, I NEVER shave on the same day as because you get microscopic (and sometimes decent sized) knicks and may not even realize it. The bacteria sometimes left behind in the basins could get into little microscopic knicks and cause nastiness! So rule of thumb, always shave the day before and not the day of! Most little knicks will heal enough in 24 hours to not let infectious bacteria in. Remember ladies, no offense to them, but they're not always the cleanest in the world! Most do the bare minimum to stay within state guidelines.
