Do you cut your own bangs?

Does anyone have any tips or techniques on how to cut whispy bangs?  I cut my own bangs, and I can get them fairly straight, but when I try to make them whispy, I always mess it up.

There's a good video here on how to cut your own whispy bangs. It's really simple when you see it!
