Hair salons across the country are training their workers to recognize signs of domestic abuse through CUT IT OUT, a program of the Professional Beauty Association.

This is really great and is something I hadn't thought of before. An abused wife may not go to the doctor but chances are she'd go to a salon. With the right training, stylists may be able to help detect the signs of abuse. Anyone ever been through a course like this before?
