Hi Caryn!!

Yeah, your complaints about mineral makeup are the most common.

Hi LM!

Yeah -- I think that's probably to be expected for what it is, but will read more about the finer powders, thanks for the link. I love the idea of the powder vs. a liquid foundation, but I think I need to do some more experimenting. My other issue is finding the right moisturizer, so that's probably part of the problem. Definitely do *not* want to look older! LOL

I think no matter what foundation you use, the right primer is really essential.

Hi LM -- right now I'm using moisturizer from the Neutrogena "Ageless essentials" line. Which I like for the most part (better than others I've tried so far) I'm using both a daytime moisturizer + a night cream. I think as we head into colder weather, though, I may need something a bit more for daytime. Any thoughts?

Hi Caryn,

I would suggest that you add retinol to your regimen, especially at night.

Mineral powder may work better for persons with oily skin. I guess it depends on skin type. I know Bare Essentials is a popular one.
