Favorite Colors?

Do you tend to gravitate towards specific colors for your nail polish? I know I do! I tend to stick with either a dark burgandy color or a dark purple color.  I'm thinking I need to branch out a bit! I tried Coral a few weeks ago and wasn't a big fan of it on me.

What are your favorite colors? Have you tried anything new that you really like?

I tend to use dark colors. My skin color is kind of dark so light colors don't look good on me. I like mostly purples but the darker the color the better it looks on my nails. A dark burgundy is awesome! I have tried Coral and surprisingly it did look good on me. Lately I've been using natural tones.

I change my colors seasonally.  For winter, it's deep reds, browns, purple-black, charcoal gray.  For spring, I like paler colors: peach, nudes, rose.  For summer, orangey corals and reds, bright reds, blue-green, silver, gold, hot pink.  For fall, purple-browns, red-browns, copper, brown, red.  I'd say red is my favorite because my skin is pale  so it stands out and looks classic, but I like to have fun too.

Last week i tried a mint-green and this week I'm wearing a gray creme that looks bluish in some lights, greenish in others and just gray in bright daylight.  I'll try most things, but not French manicures - they look classy on some people but they're just not me - and not bright purpole or bright blue or nail art - they seem too garish for work, though I do enjoy them on other people.

I've been loving metallics lately, especially silver.  I'm usually a dark color fan, but I'm loving the look of metallics right now.
