I have my grad in approx 6 weeks. I'll be wearing a navy, long, strapless gown. I plan on wearing sandals, but I haven't bought them yet. No clue on how I want to do my nails yet, either. They're quite long, and artificial, but well-maintained. I am thinking maybe a classic French manicure, but what about my toes? How long would my toenails have to be (w/o grossing out whomever gives me the pedicure(s))? Thanks in advance!

Hi Jen! And WELCOME to the Get Beautiful Nails Board! Congradulations on graduating! That's wonderful!

Really, you can wear any shade of enamel with Navy Blue. There's no rule that your fingernails & toenails have to match. Although, you can read about my SpaPedicure that I just got yesterday in this same section. I got a French Manicure on my toes and I love it! You do have to have alittle length on your toenails, obviously, but not too much.

I let my toenails get pretty long, to the edge of my toe. EEK! I know, but since I am pregnant, I didn't want to chance cutting them crooked and really messing them up before my pedicure. Trust me, long toenails really do not gross nail professionals out. We've seen way worse than long toenails.

I hope I've helped answer you question(s). Please post back if I didn't answer your questions or you have any other questions. Also, I would love to hear what you decided on.
