Oh cool! We almost saw that movie this weekend. We had a really good weekend. So what's up for this week? Tomorrow I have my annual doctor's visit and I have to fast. My appointment is at 10:00 so let's hope I can survive. Then, I have to go back on Thursday for my mammogram. Busy week!!
Not bad so far. Tomorrow I'm going to the book store and Friday I'm getting together with my friend. We found a new home for Dorie and she leaves sometime Thursday. I took some pics of her the other day. We know this woman that's gonna have her, and she has 2 twin 8 yr old boys who I think will just love her and she'll have double the fun.
Ohhh, well I hope those 8 year old twins know how to treat a dog. Still, I wish you had given Dorie to a rescue group. They know how to better foster or adopt out a dog. Hopefully this family will take care of Dorie.
This morning I'm going to the doctor and then tomororw I have to go back to get my mammogram.
Their dad just got a hound dog not too long ago, within the last 2 months or so. I'm kinda sad that I'm giving her away, but I know the woman somewhat personally so I know she's going to a good home. And the woman knows that if it doesn't work out to keep her she can always give her back to us.
This afternoon I'm going to the book store for a little while and tonight Wal Mart. Yesterday and today its been pretty rainy. It stormed a lot Tuesday into Wednesday morning has been rainy with thunder ever since then, but at least it keeps thing nice and cool.
This is what I was afraid of. Now that this woman doesn't want Dorie she's going to be passed around and she's really going to be confused where her home is. I hope you do find someone else.
I'm just glad the woman didn't take and then say that and pass her off to someone else. I got your email yesterday, thanks. But I think we are gonna find her a home because the Tulsa animal shelters, I guess depending on which one you go to, puts at least 100 dogs to sleep a day and I wanna know she went to a home. They guy that fixed our home phone the other day said that his sister has raised pugs and she might like Dorie so we are gonna see if she would like her.
Yesterday I went to the mall and I got some camies, but they are a little small so sometime todaty I'm gonna to exchange them for a larger size. And I'm gonna get some sunglasses that are on sale at White House Black Market for just $14.00, they were $28.00 and I wouldn't pay that much for them and I need some new because all of mine broke. But for the most part, I plan on doing some reading and catching up on laundry because in just a little over 10 days and I leave.
Oh, I didn't think of that. I should have searched for "no kill" shelters - LOL!! Well, I'm glad you're still looking for a good home for Dorie.
We just got home. We took Jack and Taz to the Vet to get all their required shots. It was a zoo, handling both of them. There's this fake concrete dog in the front yard of the vet's office. And Taz is always leery to pass by it. When I walked her up to the door she growled at that fake dog and barked heheee...she's so funny. But everything is fine with my dogs.
Today it is HOT HOT! But still we have one flower bed to work on. We'll do that after we have breakfast (dh is fixing it right now) and then I will go to church later on. After church, we'll go into Little Rock to have dinner.
Are you getting excited for your trip? Wow, 10 days...;-)
