Its nice to know you're done a little better! At least you have a natur clock that I'm sure will wake you up on time every morning until they have a new spot to call home.
I ate a lot this weekend. And yet I'm hungry this morning!
Do you have whippowills in your area? Here's something I found over the net:
(Caprimulgus vociferus), nocturnal bird of North America belonging to the family Caprimulgidae (see caprimulgiform) and closely resembling the related common nightjar of Europe. It is named for its vigorous deliberate call (first and third syllables accented), which it may repeat 400 times without stopping. It lives in woods near open country, where it hawks for insects…
I tell ya their sound is so annoying. There's a tree very close to one of our bedroom windows and I swear the bird is perched right on the windowsill. That's how LOUD it is! When we first moved here they used to sing at night around 10PM. One time dh got so sick of hearing them as we went to bed so he got out his pistol. The gun mischarged and he shot throught he patio door (at the time). He scared the living hell out of me!! But for the past few years they seem to come out at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning! Grrrrrr LOL, I can only laugh about it now ;-)
Well then...consider yourself lucky. The sound is very loud and they don't stop!! Yesterday and this morning though I didn't hear them. I must have been sound asleep or knocked out by the narcotic ;-)
The good news is...my back is feeling better. Dh left early this morning to catch a flight to Dallas so I had to get the dogs out of their pen. It was
Well, have a nice day at work and with your meeting tonight. How often do you have these meetings? I lead a group of women at my church and we meet once a month. Last Monday was our last meeting. We take a break during the summer months so the next time we meet up will be in September. We always meet the 2nd Monday of the month and we meet in each other's homes. It's lots of fun. After our meeting we have a dessert and drink. It's usually lemonade or iced tea. In the winter we have hot tea or hot chocolate...something like that!
They are usually Mondays and Thursdays and Sundays of course! I enjoy them and then next weekend is a huge convention, Friday-Sunday! About 5,000-8,000 people attend. Its just once a yr. I've got all of my outfits picked out to go. I'll take pics!!!!
Dh had to work this afternoon so I am home alone. When he gets home we will go out to eat and do a little shopping. Other than that, I'm at home relaxing. ;-)
