That's good you had help. The wedding was nice. The bride looked great and her dress was lovely. It was cream with gold bead and applica on it and it the train was about 2-3 ft long. I think the dress its self cost something between $700-$1,000 and that's' not counting the bridemaids nor the groom and the best men's clothes! I bet they spent around $2,000 for the clothes for those who were in the wedding. The cake was fattening, but it was good. I had just one slice because I was kinda full and I'm getting BIG! :
Sounds like a nice wedding. What kind of cake was it? How long was your skirt? I look forward to seeing the pics!! ;-)
So, what's up for this week? Today I am relaxing...dh helped me clean this weekend so there's not much work to do LOL! I have maybe one load of laundry to do. I do need to put some winter clothes away so I may do that.
Daily for the past 7 yrs! Lately I've been using it in the house so I can get more dones. If I don't use my chair, I also use a walker and with the chair it frees my hands so I can a lot more in a shorter amount of time.
What about a cane? Do you use that as well? Will you ever not need the wheelchair and walker? I'm sorry....;-)
I have some sad news. A friend of ours has a welsh corgi. I think you know what kind of dog it is. It's short kind of like a bassett but has long hair. Anyway, they live in the country like we do. Last night their corgi walked to the pond, slipped and fell into the pond and drowned!!! Isn't that so sad?
My legs aren't strong to do that. I've tried, but it just doesn't work. But sometime I'm gonna do the titaum rods and then I can walk without the use of a walker or wheel chair! When I'm gonna do that, I don't know.
Oh, I see. I had no idea you were in the wheelchair so much. What is the titanium rods? I wish for you that you can walk without the wheelchair and walker. ;-)
They are small rods that are put (surgical) down the center of your phemer bone to make the bone and your leg stronger. A lot of people at the convention I go to in Chicago have had that done, but there's no one here in the state of Oklahoma that help me with that because I have rare bone disease and they are afraid of law suite I'm sure if they mess up, and they are other places that have docs that know what they are doing. Its just
Ah, ok. I'll have to look it up. I'm not squeamish at the sight of blood. ;-)
Well, I am sorry....yes, things could be worse and it sounds like you are adapting quite well. I too wish things were different for you. Sometimes we are dealt with stuff we don't want or like...but it's how we deal with it. Like, I wish I wasn't born with my asthma...but I have learned to deal with and live with it.

Nice picture. How often do you have to use your wheelchair? I like your shoes in the picture. You like the pointed toe shoes, don't you?
