I've not been swimming since May! I like to but not all the time.
Last night I stayed home and watched What Not To Wear. I didn't do very much. I took a long shower and shaved my legs. Today I'm gonna go swimming in a few hrs, and then I get my hair cut at 5:30 today. I'm gonna maybe exchange my purse for this one. Its on sale online and it was on sale when I got my other one, but it was more, so I'm hoping that it will be be around the some price as the one I just got a few wks ago.
Oh last night I was looking at pics of my favorite TV actress, Jamie Luner on Google, and I saw something somewhat shocking, a link to iVillage, and it was my pic!!! From my iConnect blog, so I changed it to a different pic and I took away where my home town is.
What happened, you didn't like your purse? Did you end up exchanging it?
Oh that IS shocking! One time I did a search - out of curiosity - and I found a lot of information on me on the web. Like webpages I had done years ago and links to some of my posts here on IV!!! But, that's the result of stuff that happens when you're on the web.
I thought I might like the other one better, and mine has buckle that you have to open, but its magnitized so you don't actually unbuckle it. But I kept the one I have because the other purse was about $23 more and it wasn't worth it to me to spend that much on a purse. Plus $30 is my limit on purses, pants and skirts.
I've looked a few times and it still there on Google, but I've changed my profile pic so that should help...maybe.
When I went to Border's a time or two ago, I saw a woman there that had purse that I liked the style of it, so I took pics with my camera phone, creepy I know, but no one else knew that I did that. Then I went to pay my bill at Macy's I was looking at their purses on sale because I needed a new one, the strap on my old was about to fall off, literally. So I got it on sale for
Yep, I sure do. I hardly ever use it. It's a large satchel. We were on vacation in San Antonio when I got it. Wow! I never throw purses away. I'll give them away to Goodwill, etc.
We did that when we were younger for clothes since kids grow out of clothes so fast. It was fun, but now we might hit a sale about once every 6 months, but its not like were looking for the sale. Sometimes my mom will stop to see if there's anything that would be worth the money, but for the most part we don't go to sales like that.
It doesn't both me to pay $30 for skirts and pants since I keep my clothes for long time. I have a pair of really nice black pants I got just before my sophmore year in high school, and now I've been out of high school since 2002, so I've had them for lonnnnnnnnng time. I got them at Dillard's. I love them and I've not found any pair of black pants that looks as good as they do.
The only time I've been to garage sale (besides having one myself, lol) was when we were visiting a friend of dh's in Cincinatti and he took us to a garage sale (a friend of his) and I bought an old Royal typewriter for $10. I still have it on a desk in the living room. It's a great conversational piece ;-)
But my friend and her husband loves to go to garage sales. She got some plantation blinds for her house and they buy toys for their granddaughter. They do this every Saturday morning. We'd much rather go and buy it.

I once spent $100 on a purse!! LOL, that's the only time I'll do that. I would have to REALLY love the purse to spend that much and that was years and
Do you still have that purse?
Here's the story behind my purse:

Normally I don't throw things out like that, but I wouldn't get something like at a garge sale or any place like that.
Oh, I see. I have a friend who goes to garage sales every Saturday. She has found incredible buys!! But, it's just not for me.
