The wedding was ok. Since they were afraid of it raining (which it never did during the wedding and reception) they moved the wedding to a non-denominational church (friend of the family is the minister) so that's where the wedding was. The church wasn't kept up and they had taped music which I thought was cheesy. But the important part is they got married.

Her dress was all satin but her veil didn't match (color) the dress. It looked like a dingy cream color. I just didn't care for the veil. It looked cheap. The food was good though.

I'm watching Brittany's performance on tv right now. You're right...it sucked!! She seemed kind of lost on the stage and it lacked something!!

Since I've never been to Tulsa I really don't know. I know you're just dying to take me shopping!!! LOL! We can eat out or whatever comes to mind ;-)

Well that's good it was in doors.

The last wedding I went I thought the food was pretty good! But some brides could do with out the veil.

I thought Britney was gonna do 2 songs and Criss Angel Mind Freak was gonna help her. Girl needs to get her act together if she ever wants her career back like she did before K-Fed! I've not really liked her, but she needs some help!!!!

When I got married my wedding dress was a hoop skirt (it was comical getting into the car with that hoop-wired slip). It was more like a "Gone With the Wind" dress...lol and I didn't thave a veil. I had flowers made into a comb and my hair was up with this comb (purple and white flowers).

How funny. All the weddings I've been to, if hte brides had veils, they were in the back and not over their face.

I thought if the weather is nice we could look around at Utica Square and if its cold, wet and rainy we could look around at the mall. Around Halloween the weather almost always gets colder, really cold. If the weather is that way, the mall is always fun.

I think the veil over the face is more of a church wedding, isn't it? We didn't have a church wedding (the first time) but the second time it was just before the priest, my MIL and a close friend as witnesses. I think I told you this. The first wedding was before a Justice of the Peace and since I wanted to get back into the church we had to get married again...in church with just the priest.

Either way...shopping is always fun. I love to look around. And with dh not there it will be even more fun LOL!!! He hates to just "look"....men!!

The other day I cleaned out my makeup drawer (I know you're shocked). I threw away a lot of stuff that was outdated. But I did find some makeup samples that have never been opened as well as some other stuff. I'll bring it to you and you can have them. If you don't like them you can either throw away or give away. The lip colors are just not me. Anything else I can bring you? LOL

LOL! Well, it's true...he will go shopping with me...but he can't see why I can't just go buy something instead of looking around. He gets impatient!!

Are you still coughing?

Oh yeah, still coughing like there's no tomorrow!!! LOL!!!!!

When we were little and we would go to the mall with our dad, he always walked a mile ahead of everyone else because he hated going to the mall, Wal Mart and anything else with lots of walking!!!! Why I don't know but that's just the way he is and still is!!!!

That sounds like my dh! He will walk with me but once we get in a store he's impatient and wonders why it's taking so long. Like...get what you want and let's go. It used to be (before we got the super center) that he hated to go to Walmart (too many people). It doesn't bother me at all!! Get away people...I'm shopping!! ;-)

Are you taking anything for your cough??
