I walk my dogs several times a day. That's just the kind of pet parent I am. They love the cold but when we come back from our walk - that north wind hitting my face is bitter!! It makes me want to scream LOL!

Good luck with your

Hi Terre!

I had a pretty good weekend. Finally got the tree up Saturday, had a nice dinner with family, and got some shopping done, too. I've got most of my shopping done, but I still need to make at least one more trip to the mall and probably order a few more things online.

I've been doing my nails in Revlon's All Fired Up for the past couple of weeks. I like red polish anyway, but it feels especially Christmas-y to me, so I'll probably keep them red through the holiday. Although, I had a crazy idea today to maybe get a nice Christmas-y green polish to go with it. I haven't decided yet if I will, or if I do, whether I would just do the tips with it, alternate with the red, or just do them all. What do you think?

I vote for the green tips! I have seen several French manicures with glittery red or red and green alternating tips, and they look fabulous!

I ended up painting mine "Midnight in Moscow" I really love this color by OPI.

*note the new BLING I picked up for myself for my birthday/Christmas from P. He doesn't buy me presents and put them under the tree, he hands me money and says get what you want. . . . . . *

I like I like!! The nails AND the bling. A friend of mine had a jewelry party last week, and DH told me to get myself a Christmas present. So I did. He liked it. :-) I had a cooking party lst night, and received an order from a teacher, whose husband had told her the same thing. She decided she still had money left over to take herself out to dinner. :-) I have no problem with the buy yourself a gift thing, since we buy each other gifts throughout the year. I think DH is going to get himself some new slacks and ballroom dance shoes.

I did a "test run" for Christmas on my nails . . . This is what they looked like yesterday:

I used Sally Hanson - Emerald City (Green) and a Sally Hanson pen in red for the stripes. It's not a very neat job. but I wanted to try it out and see how it would look.
