Hey, Terre! My weekend was very....still.
I had my gallbladder removed Friday
morning, so the only thing I did this weekend was take my meds and lay in bed
all day and night. I'm in bed right now. I'm trying to cut back on the pain meds
because they make me so loopy.

Today is my dd's 7th birthday and since today is also a holiday, she didn't have
to go to school. She's outside playing with everyone and having a blast.

My nails will have to wait until I'm feeling better.

Oh, you had your surgery. I hope your kids and dh were waiting on you hand and foot. Take it easy.

Happy Brithday to your daughter!!!

Yeah, my dh is taking great care of me and the
kids. He makes sure I take it easy.

So, what goodies did you buy this weekend? :-)

Well, let's see....I got Sally Hansen French Manicure kit which I'll use when my nails get a little longer LOL! I also bought Aveda "Be Curly" shampoo and conditioner. I love love Aveda products!

I was at Target and I was eyeing their Aveda
products. Is the Be Curly line pretty good? I'm starting
to really embrace my curls (instead of fighting them) and
I was thinking about trying a styling product that's made to
enhance curls.

I've seen those brewing machines that make individual
cups of coffee/tea with like a jillion different flavors,
but I haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet. I'll just
stick with my regular old boring coffee maker. ;-)

Yes! Be Curly is really nice. I use all the Aveda products. I'm like you - I'm accepting my curls. About once a week I'll straighten my

I use Smooth Infusion anytime - curly or straight it works both ways. I generally only like salon products. The exception would be Sunsilk but mostly I use salon products. I think they work the best.

Hi Terre! I'm so behind on my iVillage postings... been so busy lately!

Finally got myself to the spa today for a much needed fill. My nails were crazy long and they had a big gap at my cuticle. Had to have them shortened a bit. Have a great weekend!

Here they are...
