long or short nails? Which do you prefer?

I prefer very long nails and they are practical for me except in a very few circumstances. I'm so used to having long nails that I'd feel funny not having them.

Short nails are more practical for me when it comes to doing things with my hands..i.e. putting leashes on the dogs (this task really can get my nails caught), grabbing things or prying stuff apart LOL...but my preference is always always long nails. The longer the better...didn't I coin the
