Favorite perfume?

I'm getting tired of my go-to scent and was searching for something new to try.  Problem is, there are so many options that I get overwhelmed at the perfume counter!  What scent(s) do you love? Have you tried anything new lately?

What is your "go-to" scent?

I have about a dozen perfumes that I wear.  Usually I wear one for a month at a time, then switch to something else.  As silly as it sounds, it keeps the scents fresh to my nose and I look forward to wearing them.

I'm kind of old-fashioned in what I like - mainly chypre/Orientals and fairly traditional florals.  I can't stand "candy" scents and don't feel that "green" scents or overly fruity florals are "me."  Nor do I care for the "cozy comfort" scents like Estee Lauder Sensuous or Donna Karan Cashmere Mist - they're fine but just not "me."  I tend to prefer fragrances that are a little more dramatic.

I love Chanel No. 5 and Coco, and from Estee Lauder I have Pure White Linen, Beautiful, White Linen, and Tuberose Gardenia.  If you like pure florals, Tuberose Gardenia is hard to beat.  I get loads of compliments on it, and it stays "true" for hours.

One perfume I've tried but still not bought is Ralph Lauren Romance Always Yours.  It has a bit of patchouli that is not overpowering.  DH hates patchouli but this is subtle enough that I might get away with it.  I wear perfume for myself, of course, but avoid anything that either he or my business partner dislikes, since they're the ones who have to smell it all day.

I can see the bottle that i use all the time, but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called, I'll have to look this weekend.  When I was hunting for a new perfume, my daughter got me a sampler case from Sephora, it had 10-12 different sample sized perfumes in it to try and rate, and then a voucher for a full sized bottle of whichever one you liked the best.  It was such a great option because not only did I find one I liked for good, I had a few other samples on hand when i wanted to mix it up.  I also do like Mary Kay's Belara and my daughter's favorite is Marc Jacob's Daisy.
