Problems with Liquid Liner?

My biggest beauty frustration is liquid eyeliner! I usually don't even bother with it because I have such a hard time making a straight line. I hope to get it down someday though because I love the look! So practice, practice, practice for me. I guess!
Oh, I have the best trick for this! My hand isn't steady and that straight line with liquid liner is nearly impossible for me to create. So what I do is, I FIRST use a pencil liner to make that straight line. (I could just stop at that, but let's face it, pencil liners sometimes smudge.) So after I go over my lid with a pencil liner, I go over THAT with a liquid liner -- it's like you're coloring or tracing almost. Use that pencil as a guide, but use that liquid to seal the look. That way, your liner won't smudge and the line will be straight.

That is defintely a good idea.
I love that idea of using pencil 1st in the previous reply.
I am actually good at it, and frankly the slower you gothe worse it looks.
Excellent trick, thank you so much. I do love the look of liquid liner and something I've done is first apply my eyeshadow so that the liner isn't directly on my skin, that way it doesn't smudge.
