Hi! I've been pooling some money into a face lift for awhile now and am almost ready to take the plunge. I've read on all the health websites I can find, but I wanted to get a first hand account of what to expect as far as the experience goes.

On the money side of things, I'm wondering if I might be able to save some of it when I enroll in one of Obamacare's exchanges in January. I wonder if it would be to my benefit to wait until January, as I hear the new health exchanges will have some new benefits as far as conditions covered. Would I be able to get my face lift covered do you know?

For the most part, if it's completely for cosmetic reasons, probably not.

You might find some high end plan that does, but most cosmetic surgery covered by insurance plans are for people who have had some sort of disfigurement or injury that leaves scars.

You might also have better success with a lower cost alternative like a lifestyle lift.
