Intense Pulsed Light - or photofacials - are non-invasive treatments that are being offered in salons and spas, to repair sun-damage, age spots, spider veins and even acne scars. It involves the application of a broad spectrum of light and the claims are that unlike laser and dermabrasions, recovery time is negligible.

I live a long way from a city with a salon that offers this service, and am considering some of the various digital/electronic home devices.  Just wondering if anyone has tried these, and what results you might have had?

Going a little further with my first question, I visited an online store recently called PleasingCare.com, which has quite an interesting line of electronic beauty devices. And that includes a portable IPL device that also uses a nano technology to turn skin products into such a fine micro they easily penetrate the skin. Even more fascinating, this new technology...for use at home.
