Does this meam I may have oily skin or T zone skin?

After I showered yesterday morning I did not an of my usual skin cream after shower  and today before I came to work I did not put any cream either so my skin is the same way it was yesterday since morning and I wanted to see how much oil my skin produced without putting any cream on it from yesterday until today. So today i touched it and I found it oily and I rub a piece of paper on it and soem oil rub it off to the paper. as in the paper you can see a small sample of it. Do I  have oily skin then>? I mean I always have more oil on the forehead than in other face places. On the cheeks I dont have oil, itis mostly on the forehead.

What kind of cream should  i use, T zone cream?

Hi Maru1962,

I'd guess you have combination or T zone skin. Natural Skin Junkie says "One of the keys to keeping your skin healthy is choosing skin care products that work on both types of skin.

Products for Combination Skin:

"Combination skins vary in their oily-dry dynamic so there is no cure-all product. A key tip when it comes to choosing a cleanser for combination skin is to treat the predominant condition. So, if you have mostly dry skin but an oily T-zone, go for a cleanser that treats sensitive and dry skin, and then use less moisturiser on the T-zone."

There's more info about how to care for combination skin at both the above sites.

What kind of skin cream have you been using?

Hi there - it sounds like you have combination skin - oily forehead, nose and chin.  You need to look for a moisturizer that is oil-free and non-comedogenic (won't clog pores).  Here's a link to an article on caring for oily skin which I think will help you as well.

Hi Maru1962- Sorry to hear your oily skin is bugging you. I went through the same thing with my oily T-Zone and nothing seemed to work. I would strongly suggest you try Cellnique's Skin Action Sebum Gel paired with their Vital Repair Cleansing Milk to keep your pores decongested! It works like a charm. Trust me! http://www.cellnique.com/
