I was cleaning off my desk today and found this huge pile of scraps of paper with titles of books and their author.

I utilize the wish list feature on Amazon. I have a private list called "Library," and I add items to this list constantly.

Amazon shows new releases before my public library, so this list allows me to keep checking my library's catalog and get in the queue for a new release fairly early. Also, I've learned that if I put my entire want-to-read list in my library's queue at once, I get too many books in at once. By using the Amazon list, I can manage how many books I have in my library's queue at one time.

I set a once-per-week recurring task

One of 2 ways:
put it on my list of books to buy
or
order it from amazon immediately ;O) (I like that way best)

Will you never give any of your books away? I read them , then donate them, unless it's something I really really want and know i'll read again some day . Just wondering ;O)

If I read a book that I don't like, then it is gone.

I do the scrap paper thing with both books and movies. I've tried keeping a list online or in a notebook, but I often misplace it only to find it months later lol.

I have a Word file that I put books that look interesting into. Or I go to Amazon or Paperback Book Swap and read about the book, then put it in my wish list or reminder list
