I was wondering if anyone else does this.

You're not the only one. I've recently been revisiting some of my old favorites from the Scholastic Book Club when I was in elementary and middle school (oh, that was the highlight of my month, getting that SBC catalog!). And one of the advantages of having kids is getting to re-read old favorites like the Laura Ingalls Wilder Little House series. (Interesting, too, to see how well they hold up over time -- the Little House books would be considered extremely racist by today's standards.)

Oh yes, I do it, too! Re-reading childhood favorites is like a trip down memory lane with old friends. :smileywink:

I have been wanting to go back and read some favorites, but haven't.

Anne of Green Gables was a book series?! When I was a kid my mom and I would watch the show and we had no clue they were books. Wow if we had known that we would have read them lol.

No need to feel foolish, I do that, too.
