It's a busy time of the year, all right! I've been so busy with shopping, cleaning and preparing for the holidays, I haven't had a chance to read much. But, last night I made a start on A Dixie Christmas by Sandra Hill.

At the end of Miracle and Other Chrismas Stories, Connie Willis recommends her favourite Chrismas reading and movies. Before I read Sarah's Key, I read one of Willis's recommendations: The Star, a story by Arthur C. Clarke. I understand why she calls the story "disturbing".

Ellen, I'm about a third of the way through it and not very impressed. I think I'm going to shelf it for now and see if I can find something that holds my interest a bit more! LOL

I'm still reading V is For Vengeance by Sue Grafton. I got it started on the plane but I haven't had much reading time since.
