I haven't had any reading time so I'm still finishing The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. I don't remember the last time that it took me so long to finish a book. Hopefully I find more time soon.

This week I started Skipping a Beat, which is about a married couple who came from modest beginnings and worked hard to become part of the wealthy elite. Then the husband has a heart attack and decides he's done living in the fast lane and wants to give away all his wealth. The wife isn't sure she's going to go along with this. So far its keeping me engaged, so we'll see how the story progresses.

Have you read "How to Be Good" by Nick Hornby? It's a hilarious and moving story on a somewhat similar theme, very well written.

Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors, Aileen. I enjoyed that series.
