I just finished The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily P. Danforth. I liked it a lot!!! Expect a review! Currently reading Who Done It? An anthology: Investagtion of Murder Most Foul Alibis by Authos with Motives Conducted by Jon Scieszka and YOU, the Reader, which is I believe all the title! It's a benefit with 80 writers writing "a serial act of Criminal Literature to Benefit 826NYC."

What's the weather like where you are? The snow's all melting here, should be gone by tomorrow, which is supposed to be a tropical day like today in the mid 40's.

I finished Who Done It? on 1/17/13. Then I suffered through Sweet Potato Queens on 1/18. Finished Love and Leftovers by Sarah Tregay yesterday. It's a YA debut novel mostly in verse, but with im conversations, song lyrics and a couple of letters. I quite liked it. It's set in NH and Boise, ID. I'm currently reading and loving Colin Fischer by Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz. The main character is a boy with Asperger's who is a freshman in high school.

Just finished Mr. Darcy's Daughters by Elizabeth Aston and it was a very good read.  I'll be starting 1984 by George Orwell this afternoon.

Weather is still cold, but it's sunny and that's a treat here in Michigan!

Happy Reading!

It's been hovering around 0 C. here. It was like a skating rink this morning and I slipped and fell on my butt going to work this morning. Hopefully the pain in my butt won't migrate to my back by morning.

I will be starting Princess Elizabeth's Spy by Susan Elia Macneal either tonight or tomorrow.

I finished up Spanish Dagger by Susan Wittig Albert over the weekend, plus read Divorcing a [_______] by Angie Weid (who happens to be my niece) and am now happily immersed into Mr. Darcy's Daughters by Elizabeth Aston.  I have 1984 by George Orwell and Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah waiting on the sidelines.

I've been under the weather with some sinus problems that went to rest in my lungs causing bronchitis.  I've been on antibiotics for a little over 24 hours now and am amazed at the difference in how I feel.

Weather wise, I missed all the springlike weather.  The snow is all melted.  We've had some rain (mostly at night) and now the colder temps have re-emerged with a vengeance.  We are supposed to have highs in the 20s for most of this week.  It's not all that bad though.  I hate the below zero temps and windchills.  We've had none of that.

I, too take advantage of e-books from the library, but still enjoy the actual visit and coming home with real books in hand.  I think it's more a nostalgia thing as I spent many afternoons at the library as a preteen and teenager.  My digital reading is done more while I'm traveling than any time else.

Happy Reading!

Thank goodness I can grab books online from my library now... otherwise, I'd be going mad! It's been raining for days here; we've had over 13 inches in the last week... and that's on ground that was already saturated from the week before. And now, more rain through tomorrow.Frown

One good thing about being house-bound with this weather; I managed to work my way through Nora Robert's The Circle Trilogy and I'm about half way through book two on her Chesapeake Bay Saga. Rainy weather and Nora Roberts just seem to go together! LOL
