I'm reading We Are What We Pretend to Be, the First and Last Works  by Kurt Vonnegut. It contains Vonnegut's first work, the novella Basic Training; his last, unfinished novel, If God Were Alive Today; and an introduction by Vonnegut's daughter Nannette.
