I'm about half way through Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones. It isn't great but it's good enough for me to finish reading it.

This morning I finished a 1967 Woody Allen play "Don't Drink the Water." It's very funny, but is it too dated? I read it because we are discussing doing it this fall in the community theater group for which I am a bord member at a meeting tonight.

Now I'm reading Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley.

I have a RL book club to discuss The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, which I'm picking up Tuesday on Thursday. I make a dessert based on the book, typically. Any suggestions? I've never read Coelho, so I'm jazzed about that.

I just finished The Alchemist and really enjoyed it - enough that I might try to find more of Coelho's books.

After finishing "Oscar Wao", I wanted to continue my visit to his world by reading or rereading some of his favourite literature.

I've started "Heretics of Dune", the fifth book in the Dune series. It's been several years since I read the previous four books, but I

Started The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen and it is very good so far.

It has been raining like crazy this last week.
