I don't remember requesting Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones from the library but it was waiting for pick up yesterday, so it will be next. I may not have much reading time this week but I'm looking forward to my vacation next week.

This past weekend I read:

The Blood Lie by Shirley Reval Virnick,

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and

Triangles by Ellen Hopkins.

Right now I'm reading Pigeon English and a friend's pre- ARC The Priest's Tale.

Thursday I 've got a real life book club where we're discussing Wild Seed by Octavia E. Butler. I also read the second book in the series Mind of My Mind. For the book club I'm making a lemon pudding cake from the Beekman 1802 Heirloom Cookbook.
