I'm reading River's Song by Melody Carlson and The Cream Puff Murder by Joanne Fluke on my Kindle. I also just bought a Kobo mini. I can now download library books which I'm looking forward to because this feature isn't avaliable to Canadians on Kindle but I started out by buying Temple of a Thousand Faces by John Shors ( I don't think that I'm going to be able to resist starting this one as well) , The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult,  The House Girl by Tara Conklin, The Painted Girls by Cathy Marie Buchannan and The Sound of Broken Glass by Deborah Crombie. I'm dangerouse with a new toy. Three library books also came in on Saturday so I have The Territory by Tricia Fields, River's Call by Melody Carlson and What Happened to my Sister by Elizabeth Flock waiting in the wings. I need a reading vacation.

Yesterday I finished the delightful and wonderful Ghetto Cowboy by G Neri. It's fiction, but based on groups in North Philadelphia where people buy former race horses to keep them away from being dogfood and keep them in empty apartment houses made into barns.

Monday I finished Thirteen Orphans by Jane Lindskold.

Today I'm reading Sphere by Michael Crichton. Not loving it yet.

I picked up from the library: Salvage the Bones, Funny How Things Change, Ashfall, The Raven Boys.

I finished River's Song by Melody Carlson. I'm glad that I have River's Call on deck. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I put aside Sphere by Michael Cricthon after ~150 pages.

Now I'm reading The House of Dies Drear by Virginia Hamilton. Not loving it either, buuuut I just got...

Frost Burned in the mail yesterday. It's the most recent Mercy Thompson book by Patricia Briggs.
