I've got just a bit left of The House of Dies Drear by Virgina Hamilton. I'm not enjoying it, exactly, but I've given up on too many books this year...

I've got a plethora of library books, plus more to pick up, but Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs came in the mail Friday. It was released Tuesday. It's the most recent of the Mercy Thompson books.

I love "A Wrinkle in Time". It certainly is about time - and other dimensions!

If you'd like to read another story about dimensions, you might like "Flatland, A Romance of Many Dimensions" by Edwin  A. Abbott.

I was sorry to finish Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out by Mo Yan; it felt like saying goodbye to a friend.

Now I'm reading The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Leguin. I first read it many years ago but didn't remember much about it. Now I think it's Leguin's best novel.

I finished River's Call by Melody Carlson and while I'm waiting for the last book of the trilogy to arrive  I'm going to start The Territory by Tricia Fields. I'm also still reading Temple of a Thousand Faces by John Shors.

Hello Again Ruth, Roberta and Kathie,

I finished Frost Burned -- it was very good!-- and am halfway through the delightful The Unberable Book Club for Unsinkable Girls by Julie Schumacher.
