I started this series at when it was at about book 13/14 — so I had a bunch to catch up on. I love this series. With that said, this last one, something felt off.

The book had it's laughs (this is really the only series I've ever read that makes me laugh out loud while reading) and the side stories held true — love triangle, family, friends — but throughout the book it felt rushed. And I found it ended rather abruptly. It really made me wanting more, and not in the way of wanting another book, more of the story just told.

All in all, I thought it was fair. Not one of the better books in the series, however, it was still a fun read.

Anyone else read the series and this book? Am I alone in feeling like this?

I read it and feel the same way. The characters interacted the same old same old, but it seemed really short. Not enough of Joe or Ranger. And,  if I'm not mistaken, her car wasn't blown up once. :/ I did love Grandma being in it more though!

BTW, great member name! :)

I'm still on the waiting list for this book but I've read the rest of the series. I agree with Eric about Grandma Mazar. I think she is hilarious.
