I got in my nap around 9 to 9:30, but still felt sleepy. Even the sunshine hasn't totally woken me for long. Might be a cycle thing, so I won't push myself too hard and will work on prioritising well. Speaking of which, once the kids are cleaned up from snacktime, I'll get them out for fresh air. They enjoyed kicking around their soccer balls yesterday. As for me, I could fill a bag with some of the dirt and needles under one big pine - the last weekend of the month is my village's yard clean-up, so any bags we can have picked up for us free is a good deal (though we do need to get to the landfill this spring with a few household items). And if there isn't enough energy in me, I'll grab my church Bible study books so I'm ready for discussion on Tuesday.

Time to try regular reply again. ;)

I need to buy some more tea next shopping trip. There's a really good selection at the store where I get meat and produce. I'm running low on herbal teas and I love the fruity tastes of those! BTW, hooray for the good grocery store! :D

I'm torn between knitting, reading and writing these days! I finished the first slipper for Ben yesterday and worked on the second one, kinda hoping to be done on the weekend so he can enjoy them for any indoor points.

I'm making ribs for supper tonight. Yesterday was chicken and scalloped potatoes, turned out really well! I just need to find some energy for the day ahead, feeling like a morning nap might help...

Dh had a doctor's appt. this morning and then it was off to the new BJs for us. He has been there before, but I had not. It was huge and boy did we stock up! I guess I should be trying to figure out what to make for dinner and if I want to cast on a new knitting project. I finished two baby shower gifts in the last couple of days. One more boy baby gift to go! :) I am really into the book, Hazardous Duty by Christy Barritt.

Thanks for volunteering to be part of the search team! Tea would be amazing. I had some Bigelow Perfect Peach last night and it was delicious! Need to add that to my grocery list.

Preschool was cancelled this morning, so we took care of some groceries and then went to playgroup for an hour to make up a bit of missed social time. After lunch I was in a better mindset to write and I feel encouraged by the revised daily goal even though the past week hasn't been productive in that manner. Will see if I can do more in the next hour if the boys play well. Then I'll make a beef stir-fry and prepare for church Bible study tonight, with a birthday celebration thrown in for the pastor's wife. (Cheesecake! Butter tarts! Hooray!)

My new phone arrived yesterday and I was distracted all afternoon, baking and making supper but taking longer because I wanted to customise and test. In the evening, my mind went blank as to the direction I was going to take with my current writing project, so I knitted until I was close to the end of the ball of yarn, then played with the phone a little more. ;)

It would definitely make a person think twice. My younger sister runs half-marathons and I suppose that a higher level of security at these events may become the norm as a result of Boston's heartbreak.

I would never have imagined a marathon would be the site of a terrorist attack, so strange the reasoning of twisted minds who resort to bombing to send their odd messages. I pray that God's love is evident in the actions of those ministering to all involved, that wonderful things may result from the tragedy and many will draw near to the Father's heart.
