BBQ ham sounds sooo good! And bunny cake must be cute and yummy at the same time!

I hear you on the extra daylight. Makes the days so much better when we can get out after supper as well as the rest of the day (and I'm hoping all the fresh air and activity wears out the kids for good sleep all around :smileywink:).

Hope your grandsons enjoy the holiday! My oldest is getting close to the 3 1/2 year mark and his brother (16 months) tries to be a big boy too. LOL

Bookshelf Field Trip to Europe! Think Rachel will give us a tour of her part of Spain? ;)

I still think it would be cool if I could visit France, England and Italy with the intent of staying with old penpals... :)

Ah, the clean-up! Bless you for handling that part. At our last Jones family dinner (yep, I have a very common maiden name!) my mum had each of the older grandkids (5 years space between them and my oldest) wash a few dishes to help with the workload. I thought it was a briliant idea!

I could mail some to you. ;) We always ate the big ones when I was growing up, but in recent years I've found they're a bit much, maybe because I like the chocolate part the best. ;)

I loved that show! The book is better, of course, but I still enjoyed seeing what I'd read.

(And Julie by the same author is really good as well. I think I like it even more than Christy.)

I had one semester of Spanish at university and still have my Spanish-English dictionary, but French is easier for me. I have a few French books and our library has some as well, but I think it'd be a slow go starting up again - haven't spoken French regularly since high school (in an Immersion program) and haven't read it since university...
