We went out to the ILs' lake house yesterday for the cousins to have a sleepover with our boys. I thought the cousins would all be in the same room, but they're probably a bit young for that.

We had the boys in their sleeping bags beside our bed and Ben somehow rolled underneath it, getting himself stuck! Thank goodness it was just a quick scare for him when he woke at about 3 am for the bathroom. Poor kid!

In other news, Tim is back on daily laxatives. We'll see another pediatrician (only two in the area) to see if there's a condition beyond our suspicion of lactose intolerance. (My research so far says that IBS or low thyroid levels could be things to test for. The lactose issue can be diagnosed in Vancouver, but hopefully we won't have to go that far to help Tim.)

Becca, that sounds like a fun time with cousins. (Except for getting stuck under the bed, lol.)

Angie, so exciting to have a new grandbaby coming.

Karyn, glad you got some rain!!

Cindy, I'll pray for you, I hope you heal quickly.

Ruth, how are your parents doing?

Well, we had a nice day, BBQed turkey burgers and had tons of fruit. It was very yummy. Now two of our kids are off spending the night with friends, so we just have the 7 year old. VERY relaxing!!

Yum to the turkey burgers! I picked up turkey franks today while getting ribs, so the boys would have a quicker supper option that's also lactose-free for Tim. (I hadn't even realised there was milk in hot dogs!)

Minor toilet repairs this morning, then lunch and going out to get most of Tim's school supplies! We also found a sale on a propane BBQ, so getting that and putting it together was the rest of the afternoon. Supper was late but super yummy because of the grill!

I'm glad you've got a solution for helping the parents. I hope that reduces stress on both ends!

The farm sounds great! I'd love to go there.

Sorry it was too hot and buggy today! It's supposed to be hot for the coming week, so I may be in and out with the boys, not too long at one time. Probably also a beach outing or maybe swimming at the public pool, something to cool us off.

Today Hubby roasted a chicken and potatoes with the BBQ. Yum yum!
