Hmm, could very well be stress. It wasn't as bad today.

I'm sorry for all the stress. I can't imagine having that all on your shoulders. I am curious, is your dh a hoarder, or do you just have a lot of stuff?

Aww, happy birthday to your "baby." Even Julia knows she will always be my baby, no matter how old she gets.

I feel more of a pack rat than a hoarder. DH has those tendencies too. PLUs we have a lot of stuff that I am working on getting rid of. I stopped collecting shot glasses about 5 years ago and I really don't collect anything (except books and crafts). Where I have tons of books (possibly over 1000) - he has movies (possibly over 800 VHS tapes that hold 3 movies each and then there are the commercial copies and the DVDs). When he was unemployed for 3 years he straightened the house, but his idea was to move things from the dinig room and living room into my craft room and pile boxes upon boxes. So we had 2 rooms straight. But AVON has taken over the living room for the past 1 and 1/2 years. He also would dump stuff into the spare bedroom, then his idea of cleaning was to dump all the mail, newspapers, magazines, etc into a trash bag and store it in the attic. Now there is tons up there.

My BFF told me that she would come help me since she has no trouble throwing anything away. She scares me!!! She rolled her eyes when I told her I had every bank statement and paycheck stub I had ever gotten in my lifetime ( I started working at age 16 - I am 44).

Ugh to the fried Twinkies. I like my deep fryer, but I couldn't handle that! :smileywink:

You two sound like my mum and dad disagreeing on what should be kept and where it should go. I smile as I type that, but I do know it's not fun being in the situation. I hope that you come to an agreeable solution as they've managed to do.

We have a ton of mail in bags and boxes too! We like to shred certain things before throwing them away, BUT dh doesn't want anything shredded until he looks at it first. That is fine...if he ever had time to go through stuff and shred it.

Today I plan on getting my house back into shape!  Everything is so behind, and it is driving me crazy.   I want to get everything done no later then Friday, then I will have Saturday and Monday to get all the kids clothes done.  (No laundry on Sundays.)  I have to swap out old clothes from their rooms with their new school clothes.  I have to wash all the new clothes, which is a ton for Julia.  It will be work, but I will enjoy it.

Hi girls,

I am heading to Aqua Zumba with DD and then she has youth group and I'll do a little work at the church. I am already tired because I've been running all day.
