Cindy, you won November's game! Here's your cool blinkie:

Who will be our last 2012 LTP winner? Be the last person (aside from yours truly, the board chatterbox LOL) to post before midnight Eastern on the 31st and the prize is yours!

Happy chatting!

Hope you're not getting a cold.

Hope all had a good weekend.

I'm anxiously waiting for UPS to deliver the gifts promised to arrive on time this week.  If UPS strikes this week I'm in big trouble, lol.  It was so fun to order almost all gifts online this year.

Planning to make fudge and then mail off my in-laws small box tomorrow.

Tired today, but I got the kitchen cleaned and laundry started, then read a bunch. I'm assuming Hubby's taking care of supper since he said I should rest. ;)

I took DayQuil after breakfast and I'm hoping to have energy for cleaning and a bit of baking today. Just noticed shortbread lasts a week, so I'll start with sugar or candy-cane and save the shortbread for closer to Christmas. I suppose I have the option of making it today and then eating until they're gone while fresh. ;) ;)

Ben and I are relaxing this morning. I think another cold is coming - both Hubby and I have had sore throats, plus Ben's been tired and whiny today. Time to take it easy (again). Maybe I'll actually get some reading done now - it's funny that I'm reading Christmas Letters and had to stop to get my own letter written, tsk tsk. I sent it off by email and have a few folks to reach by Facebook soon, so the pressure is gone. ;)

I like checking Christmas book displays at the library. You never know what you'll find. :)

I am going to go to the library today I think. I am going to return two books that just haven't called out to me to read them. I will look on the Christmas table for a new one, and they also have one for me on hold. :)

Things are good here this week.  I haven't been babysitting because the dad in my main family broke his toe at work, and is out for a month or so.  Then my Friday only family is done because the mom's semester is done, and she isn't teaching Fridays anymore.  It has been nice to just have my kiddos.

This morning I did some baking for church and then dealt with the kitchen clean-up. After lunch, we mailed off a few Christmas cards to the relatives without computers and came home with a bunch of mail ourselves! Meatballs for supper and some organising done in the boys' closet too!

Oops, I got so busy I didn't give a Tuesday update! Groceries and playgroup plus a school "project" when Tim came home (a drawing about what we all like most about the holidays). In the evening I discovered that I'm not as rusty with my French as I thought - I can at least understand what's going on when I check the news or talk shows, and I didn't think that was possible anymore. Now I need to practice my conversation, maybe with the pastor's wife. :)

Naughty Becca decided on a $25 trackball, the cheapest of all the trackball options and one of the best-looking too. ;) Ordered online, so shipping and tax as well. I'm really hoping this is a long-living trackball!

I got a call this morning that the shipment with Hubby's Christmas presents should be here today. There's duty to pay but it's definitely worth not worrying whether economy shipping (via USPS and Canada Post) would make it in time. Next year I need to shop around Black Friday/Cyber Monday, for the shipping times and not necessarily the deals! LOL

Since we're at home waiting for the courier, I've had more time to be sure the grocery list is complete, put banana bread in the oven and will make supper from poultry left in the deep freeze. We'll get the groceries tomorrow. :)
